Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People who have a history of breast cancer of any type
- People who are suspected to have breast cancer that has spread to the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord (called leptomeningeal metastasis), based on symptoms, imaging scans, or fluid analysis from around the spine — and whose doctors plan to treat them for this condition
- People who have previously had cancer spread to the brain or surrounding membranes are still eligible
- People whose general health and ability to function meets a certain minimum level, as measured by standard medical scoring tools (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer spread to the brain or spinal membranes is suspected to come from a blood cancer, lymphoma, or a solid tumour other than breast cancer
- People whose doctors have determined they are not suitable candidates for treatment of cancer that has spread to the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord
