Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 40 and 70 years old
- People who have had a single stroke on one side of the brain, at least 8 months before joining the study
- People with moderate to severe weakness or loss of function in one arm (based on a specific scoring test called the ARAT, with a score between 0 and 30)
- People who are able to move their elbow and wrist when the arm is supported so it does not have to work against gravity

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have weakness on both sides of the body
- People who had more than one stroke, or whose brain damage is spread across multiple areas
- People who have difficulty noticing things on one side of their visual field, in a way that would prevent them from seeing visual feedback during the study
- People who have shoulder pain or stiffness in the joints of the affected arm
- People with severely reduced sense of touch, as measured by a specific touch sensitivity test
- People who have received Botox injections in the affected arm within the past 4 months
- People who have speech, thinking, or emotional difficulties that would affect their ability to give consent, follow instructions, or take part in the study
- People who are currently taking part in any other arm rehabilitation program, whether as part of another study or as a prescribed therapy
- People who have other neurological conditions
- People who have any implanted electronic devices (such as pacemakers, electronic pumps, or implanted stimulators), irritated skin or open wounds at the sensor site, or a known allergy to silver — as these are contraindications to the sensors used in the study
