Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between the ages of 18 and 59 years old
- Both men and women are eligible
- People who experience breathlessness rated at Grade 1 through Grade 4 on a standard breathlessness scale (called the Modified MRC Dyspnea Scale)
- People with mild asthma, classified as either mild intermittent or mild persistent severity
Who may not be able to join:
- People with moderate to severe asthma, or those experiencing a serious asthma attack (sometimes called status asthmaticus)
- People born with physical abnormalities affecting the chest wall, heart, or lungs
- People with nerve or muscle conditions that affect movement, or physical deformities of the chest wall
- People with heart or lung diseases, such as blocked heart arteries, high blood pressure in the lungs, or problems with heart valves
- People with an autoimmune disease that affects the chest wall, heart, or lungs
- People who have recently had surgery on the chest, heart, or abdomen
- People who have recently experienced a significant injury to the chest or abdomen
- People with unstable blood pressure readings above certain levels (confirm with trial site)
- People who are pregnant
