  • People who show signs of sleep apnoea (breathing interruptions during sleep) based on a standard screening questionnaire
  • People with severely irregular sleep patterns, as identified by standard sleep quality assessments
  • People showing signs of depression based on a standard mood questionnaire for older adults (a score of 5 or higher on the Geriatric Depression Scale)
  • People with a history of untreated serious neurological or psychiatric conditions
  • People with a history of alcohol or substance misuse
  • People currently taking any medication that affects the brain or nervous system
