Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who identify as Black or African American men, as recorded in medical records and by self-report, who have finished their main surgery and/or radiation treatment for prostate cancer that was localised or had spread to only a small number of areas, and who completed that treatment between 1 and 4 years before joining the trial.
- People who are still receiving hormone therapy (to reduce androgen levels) after radiation treatment that was intended to treat rather than just manage symptoms may also be included.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been assessed by their doctor as having dementia or problems with thinking and memory.
- People whose cancer specialist considers them unable to give informed consent to take part.
- People whose prostate cancer has come back after their main treatment.
- People who are under 18 years of age at the time of giving consent to join the trial.
- People who have been diagnosed with a second active cancer that currently requires treatment.
- People who are not able to clearly understand English, as the study measures require an understanding of English.
