Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been confirmed by biopsy or tissue testing to have certain types of solid tumour cancers or certain types of lymphoma (a cancer of the lymphatic system) that cannot be surgically removed, have spread locally, or have spread to other parts of the body.
- People whose cancer has continued to grow, has come back, or who could not tolerate at least one standard cancer treatment for their type of cancer — or who have been considered not suitable for standard treatment.
- People who are reasonably well and able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard health scoring system (a score of 0 or 1 on the ECOG scale, or a score of 70 or above on equivalent scales used for younger patients).
- People who have measurable signs of disease that can be detected and tracked using CT or MRI scans, according to established measurement guidelines.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously been treated with a drug that works by breaking down a protein called RBM39.
- People who have significant problems with their stomach or digestive system, including conditions that affect how the body absorbs substances through the gut.
