Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have had a stroke causing weakness or paralysis on one side of the body (either left or right side).
- People whose stroke occurred more than six months ago.
- People aged between 45 and 65 years, of any gender.
- People who score more than 24 out of 30 on a standard memory and thinking test called the Mini-Mental State Examination.
- People who have mild muscle stiffness in their affected limbs, rated as 1 or 1+ on a standard spasticity scale called the Modified Ashworth Scale.
- People who can bend their wrist upward at least 20 degrees and straighten their fingers at the knuckles at least 10 degrees on the affected arm.
- People who have at least some muscle strength (grade 2 out of 5) in the wrist-lifting muscles of the affected arm.
- People who have normal vision and visual perception.
- People who do not have any other neurological conditions.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to follow visual or spoken instructions.
- People who have a condition called unilateral neglect, where the brain does not pay attention to one side of the body or environment (confirm with trial site).
- People who have severe difficulties with thinking, memory, or communication.
