- People who have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (a type of inflammatory bowel disease) that is in a critical stage between remission and flare-up, confirmed through scans, camera tests of the bowel, blood/lab tests, and tissue samples

- People whose medical records are incomplete

- People who have an active local or widespread infection, any form of cancer, or another condition where the immune system attacks the body
- People who have significant conditions affecting the lungs, heart, nervous system, hormone system, or blood
- People considered to be at risk of developing cancer
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
