Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are able to give written agreement to take part after being fully informed about the study

- Cohort 5 (Kidney Transplant): You have received a kidney transplant within the last month
- Cohort 6 (Transplant Rejection): You have had a confirmed episode of kidney transplant rejection shown by a tissue sample (biopsy)
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to give informed consent
- You have any reason you cannot safely have an MRI scan, such as having certain implanted medical devices
- You are under 18 years old
- You are pregnant or have a positive pregnancy test
- You are currently breastfeeding
- Your kidney disease is caused by polycystic kidney disease
- You are currently in an intensive care unit or a surgical ward
- You are currently taking calcium channel blockers or digoxin (types of heart medication)
- Cohort 1 only: You have a diagnosis of diabetes
- Cohort 2 only: You are currently on dialysis, have a working kidney transplant, have a condition affecting multiple body systems (such as vasculitis), or are taking immunosuppressant medications
