Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer through a biopsy at Peking University People's Hospital.
- People whose cancer was at a stage that had not spread to distant parts of the body before treatment began (stages T1–T4, N0–N3, M0).
- People who received their treatment and surgery at Peking University People's Hospital and have hospital records there.
- People who received chemotherapy before surgery (neoadjuvant chemotherapy), with any number of cycles, and immunotherapy before and/or after surgery is also permitted.
- People whose post-surgery pathology results confirmed that some cancer cells remained in the breast and/or underarm lymph nodes after treatment.
- People who have signed an agreement to take part in the Peking University People's Hospital breast disease cohort study.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose medical records are incomplete, such as missing imaging scans or pathology reports.
- People whose breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic), or who have cancer in both breasts.
- People who did not undergo full (radical) surgery to remove the cancer.
- People who have a harmful or likely harmful change (mutation) in the BRCA gene and who received treatment with PARP inhibitor medications after surgery.
