Who might be able to join this trial:
Phase 1 (CCANED):
- Adults aged 40 years or older.
- People who have a confirmed diagnosis of one of these cancer types: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme (a type of brain tumour), Colorectal Cancer, Liver Cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma), Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, or Pancreatic Cancer.
Phase 2 (CIPHER):
- Adults aged 40 years or older.
- People who have a confirmed diagnosis of either Liver Cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) or Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
- People willing to provide blood samples at three set time points: at the start, at 6 weeks, and at 6 months after treatment begins.
Who may not be able to join:
Phase 1 (CCANED):
- People who are currently pregnant.
- People who currently have an active infectious disease.
- People who have taken blood-thinning or anti-clotting medications within the past 2 weeks.
- People with medical or psychological conditions that could affect their ability to follow the study's procedures.
Phase 2 (CIPHER):
- People who have or have had another type of cancer, unless that cancer has been in remission for at least 5 years.
- People with serious ongoing health conditions that are not well controlled and could interfere with taking part in the study (confirm with trial site).
