Who might be able to join this trial:

- Your stroke was caused by a blockage in a blood vessel (ischemic stroke, not a bleed)
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are able to give your own consent to participate (a family member or caregiver cannot consent on your behalf), at any point before you are discharged from the hospital
Who may not be able to join:

- You are already taking part in another treatment trial that runs through the six-month follow-up period
- You would not be able to attend or complete the required check-ins and study visits over six months
- You have a reason why you cannot have an MRI scan without contrast dye (for example, a pacemaker or severe claustrophobia)
- Doctors do not expect you to survive beyond your current hospital stay due to serious complications from the stroke
- You had a significant pre-existing condition affecting your vision, sense of touch, balance, blood pressure when standing, coordination, or ability to move around
- Your level of disability after the stroke is very severe, or you are being discharged to hospice care
