Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women aged 18 or older who are proficient in English
- People with a history of stage I, II, or III breast cancer
- People who currently show no signs of active cancer based on clinical examination and medical history
- People who have been taking a specific type of hormone therapy called an aromatase inhibitor (anastrozole, letrozole, or exemestane) for at least 28 days before joining, with a plan to continue for at least another 12 months
- People whose worst joint pain in the past week was rated at least 4 out of 10 on a pain scale
- People who experienced pain on at least 15 days out of the 30 days before joining the trial
- People whose joint pain has been present for at least one month
- People whose joint pain is believed to be caused by their hormone therapy
- People who are willing to follow all study procedures, including being randomly assigned to one of two group therapy programs (either Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement or Supportive Group Psychotherapy)
- People who are able to attend video call sessions from a quiet and private location
Who may not be able to join:
- People with stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer
- People who completed chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation therapy less than 4 weeks before enrolling
- People whose joint pain is linked to inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or pseudogout
- People who have had surgery or an injection in the affected joint(s) within the last month, or who have one planned within the next six months
- People identified as having active suicidal thoughts or psychosis, as assessed through a specific psychiatric screening interview (confirm with trial site)
