Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer for the first time, confirmed by a tissue test (biopsy)

- People whose prostate cancer has reached stage T4 (meaning the tumour has grown into nearby tissues beyond the prostate) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have had another cancer within the 3 years before joining the trial
- People who have received hormone therapy for prostate cancer within the 3 months before joining the trial
- People with a weakened immune system
- People who have needed to insert a urinary catheter themselves at any point in the past year
- People with certain psychological conditions, including dementia, chronic depression, or psychosis
- People who have had any of the following procedures within 3 months before joining: surgery on the sigmoid colon, major haemorrhoid removal surgery, a needle-based prostate treatment called TUNA, pelvic bone surgery, or a repeat prostatectomy
- People with long-term or recurring urinary tract infections
- People who are on dialysis (kidney filtering treatment)
- People who are not willing to allow their data to be stored and used as part of the trial
