Who might be able to join this trial (for people with ALS):
- Your symptoms started less than 36 months (3 years) ago
- You have been diagnosed with ALS confirmed by one of two standard sets of medical guidelines (El Escorial or Awaji-Shima criteria) — your doctor can confirm which applies to you
- A breathing test taken within the last 90 days showed your lungs are working at 60% or more of the expected level for someone your age and size
