Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are in overall stable health, as assessed by a doctor through medical history, physical examination, blood tests, and any previous heart monitoring results.
- People who have tested positive for the Epstein-Barr virus (a common virus, also known as EBV) in a screening blood test.
- People who have been diagnosed with relapsing multiple sclerosis (including a first single episode, sometimes called clinically isolated syndrome, or an early finding on a scan without symptoms, called radiologically isolated syndrome) within the past 24 months, and who have had no changes in their neurological symptoms for at least 30 days before the first study visit.
- People who could become pregnant may still be considered, provided they are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding and are using a highly effective form of contraception.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been acutely unwell or had a fever of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher in the 72 hours before or at the time of their screening or first study visit.
- People with a history of a medical diagnosis or condition that a doctor judges to be unstable or likely to affect their safety, the study results, or their ability to follow study procedures.
- People who have received any vaccine not related to this study (including any COVID-19 vaccine) within 28 days before or after any study injection, or who have received a flu vaccine within 14 days before or after any study injection — or who plan to do so within those timeframes.
- People with any medical, psychiatric, or work-related condition, or a history of drug or alcohol misuse, that a doctor believes could increase risks or affect the study results.
- People who have taken immune-suppressing medications (including corticosteroids at doses of 10mg per day of prednisone or equivalent or higher) in the 30 days before screening.
- People with any documented history of inflammation of the heart muscle or the lining around the heart (myocarditis, pericarditis, or myopericarditis).
- People who have donated 450mL or more of blood or blood products within 28 days before screening, or who plan to do so within 28 days after a study injection.
