Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are over 50 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with a type of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) that involves abnormal blood vessel growth (called neovascular AMD) affecting the central part of your retina
  • You may be either new to treatment or have had treatment before and the condition has returned
  • There is no minimum or maximum vision level required to take part

  • You have received anti-VEGF eye injections (a common treatment for eye conditions) in the last six months

  • You have had certain types of laser treatment to the central part of your eye, or eye surgery such as cataract surgery or a procedure called vitrectomy, in the last six months or during the study period (note: a specific light-based treatment called photodynamic therapy does not disqualify you)
