- You have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa (either the restrictive type or the binge-purge type)
- Your doctor has determined that you need inpatient (hospital-based) treatment, based on current medical guidelines

- Your weight is below the 10th percentile AND you also have an additional mental health condition, are losing weight quickly, or have not gained weight during outpatient treatment over the last three months
- You are planning to receive inpatient treatment
- You are insured with one of the health insurance companies participating in this trial
- You have a reliable internet connection at home
Who may not be able to join:
- Your weight has dropped below 67% of the expected healthy body weight for your age and height (severely underweight — confirm with trial site)
- You are currently harming yourself or are considered a danger to others
- You are currently experiencing psychosis (losing touch with reality) or have active thoughts of suicide
- You are currently misusing alcohol or drugs
- There is ongoing child abuse or domestic violence in your household
- You are insured with a health insurance company that is not part of this trial
- Your inpatient treatment has been ordered by a court
- There are known, current child protection concerns or active family court proceedings involving your family
