Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 to 80 years, either male or female
- People whose lymphoma has been confirmed by laboratory testing to be Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL)
- People who have not yet received any treatment for DLBCL
- People who have at least one area of lymphoma that can be measured or assessed using standard lymphoma imaging guidelines (Lugano 2014 criteria)
- People who are reasonably active and able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard health scoring tool (ECOG score of 0–2) (confirm with trial site)
- People whose doctors expect them to live for at least 3 months
- People whose lymphoma scores 2 or lower on a standard risk-assessment tool called the International Prognostic Index (IPI)
- People whose bone marrow, liver, and kidneys are functioning well enough to meet the trial's requirements
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose lymphoma is a different subtype of large B-cell lymphoma, such as Primary Cutaneous, Primary Mediastinal, Lymphomatoid Granulomatosis, ALK-positive, Plasmablastic, Intravascular, or T-cell/Histiocyte-rich types, among others
- People whose DLBCL developed by transforming from a previously different type of lymphoma
- People whose lymphoma has spread to the central nervous system (brain or spinal cord), or who would need high-dose methotrexate as a preventive treatment
- People who have previously received any cancer treatment
- People living with HIV and/or AIDS
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and people of childbearing age who do not wish to use contraception during the trial
- People with a mental illness or those who are otherwise unable to give informed consent to participate
- People whom the trial investigators determine are not suitable for the study for any other reason
