Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 35 and 60 years old
- People with mild to moderate knee joint arthritis (tibiofemoral osteoarthritis), graded I, II, or III on the Kellgren-Lawrence scale
- People who have pain at the front of the knee (patellofemoral osteoarthritis)
- People where the inner side of the knee is affected, but not the outer side
- People whose knee can bend to at least 120 degrees
- People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) below 30 kg/m²
- People whose knee has an inward angle (varus alignment) of less than 10 degrees
Who may not be able to join:
- People with advanced knee arthritis (Grade IV on the Kellgren-Lawrence scale) where a full knee replacement is needed
- People whose knee cannot fully straighten and has a fixed bend of 15 degrees or more
- People with an inflammatory condition affecting the joints, such as rheumatoid arthritis
