Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are at least 18 years old.
• People who have had a stroke affecting one side of the brain (either a blocked or bleeding stroke) that occurred more than three months ago.
• People with enough thinking and understanding ability to follow instructions, as measured by a standard memory and thinking test (a score above 24 on the Arabic version of a common cognitive screening test).
• People with mild-to-moderate muscle stiffness in the affected arm, based on a standardised scale (Modified Ashworth Scale score below 3).
• People with moderate-to-severe arm movement difficulties after their stroke, as measured by a standard arm function assessment (Fugl-Meyer Assessment score between 10 and 58).

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have significant vision problems, blind spots in their vision, or difficulty paying attention to one side of their surroundings.
• People who have a type of language difficulty (aphasia) that makes it hard to understand instructions.
• People who have a medical reason that would make a type of non-invasive brain stimulation treatment unsafe for them (confirm with trial site).
• People who have other neurological (brain or nervous system) conditions, or who are currently taking part in another research study.
