- People who have a referral and written medical clearance from a doctor to participate in a rehabilitation program.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a medical reason that makes aerobic exercise or muscle-strengthening exercise unsafe for them, such as significant irregular heart rhythms, untreated heart disease, inflammation of the heart muscle (myocarditis), a recent or untreated blood clot in the lungs, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or similar conditions (confirm with trial site for the full list).
