Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 18 and 35 years old
- People who have been trying to conceive without success for between 1 and 4 years
- People who have been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose difficulty conceiving is caused by blocked or damaged fallopian tubes (checked by a procedure called laparoscopy or hysterosalpingogram)
- People who have an abnormality in the shape or structure of the uterus (womb), as found by ultrasound or a procedure called hysteroscopy
- People whose partner has been found to have a sperm-related fertility issue (checked by a semen analysis)
- People who have endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the womb lining grows in other areas of the body)

- People who have certain hormonal or gland-related conditions, such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, problems with the hypothalamus or pituitary gland, or high levels of a hormone called prolactin
- People who have previously had a poor response to fertility stimulation treatment, or who have experienced ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (a reaction to fertility medication)
- People who have chronic (long-term) illnesses, chromosomal conditions, autoimmune conditions, blood clotting disorders, or abnormal results on certain blood tests that measure inflammation
- People who have any medical condition that makes pregnancy unsafe for them
