For patients with Anorexia Nervosa:
- You are female
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa
- You are currently admitted as an inpatient at the Eating and Nutrition Disorders unit at Istituto Auxologico Italiano in Piancavallo, Italy
For the healthy comparison group:
- You are female
- You are 18 years of age or older
- Your Body Mass Index (BMI) falls within the normal range (18.5–24.9 kg/m²) (confirm with trial site if unsure about your BMI)
Who may not be able to join:
For patients with Anorexia Nervosa:
- You are not willing or able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
For the healthy comparison group:
- You are not willing or able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
- You have any existing physical or mental health condition
