  • People with an active, acute inflammatory condition (such as a serious infection or flare-up)
  • People with severely low red blood cell levels (severe anaemia, based on a specific blood test result)
  • People whose resting blood pressure is very low (systolic pressure below 85 mmHg)
  • People who have had a recent fainting episode
  • People with other significant health conditions that seriously affect their ability to be physically active, such as severe neurological diseases or major musculoskeletal problems
  • People with serious irregular heart rhythms that have not been treated
  • People whose pulmonary arterial hypertension medications are changed at any point during the rehabilitation program
