Who may not be able to join:

  • Your breast cancer has spread to distant parts of the body (Stage IV)
  • You have a type of breast cancer called inflammatory breast cancer
  • You have previously received cancer treatment or radiotherapy for any cancer, unless it was a fully cured early-stage cancer such as certain skin cancers or early cervical cancer
  • You are currently receiving other cancer treatments as part of another clinical trial
  • You had a major operation unrelated to breast cancer within the 4 weeks before starting the study, or you have not fully recovered from such an operation
  • You have a serious heart condition, such as heart failure, uncontrolled irregular heartbeat, chest pain requiring medication, significant heart valve disease, evidence of a previous heart attack on an ECG, or poorly controlled high blood pressure
  • You have an active uncontrolled infection, a weakened immune system, HIV, another immune deficiency condition, or a history of organ transplant
  • You have active hepatitis B or hepatitis C that is not well controlled (confirm with trial site if you have a history of hepatitis B or C, as some cases may still be eligible)
  • You have a known allergy to any of the medications used in this trial
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a positive pregnancy test at the start of the trial, or are unwilling to use effective contraception during the trial and for 6 months after the last dose
  • You have another serious illness or condition that the trial doctors feel could interfere with your treatment or make participation unsafe
