Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are able to communicate in English.
  • You have an estimated pre-illness IQ above 79, measured by a specific reading test (confirm with trial site).

  • Your medication has stayed the same for at least the past two weeks, and you are currently taking an antipsychotic medication (either as a pill or an injection).

  • You currently experience a strong belief that others intend to harm you (a persecutory delusion), which has lasted for at least two months and is not thought to be caused by drug or alcohol use, and which scores at a certain level on a clinical rating scale (confirm with trial site).

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a serious physical or neurological health condition known to affect thinking or brain function, such as uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled thyroid problems, Cushing's disease, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis or another disease affecting the nerves, HIV, a brain infection, unstable heart disease, active hepatitis, certain other hormone conditions, cancer affecting the brain, uncorrected vision problems, or a movement disorder called tardive dyskinesia.
  • You have had a serious head injury in the past where you were unconscious for more than 30 minutes.
  • Your main diagnosis is an alcohol or drug use disorder, or a personality disorder.
