Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 to 75 years old, of any sex

• People currently taking part in another clinical trial and receiving treatment through that trial
• People who have previously had any systemic treatment for oesophageal cancer, such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy
• People with active tuberculosis who are currently receiving or have received tuberculosis treatment within the past year
• People with high calcium levels in the blood that are not under control
• People with an active infection that is not under control, including acute pneumonia
• People with uncontrolled major seizures or a condition called superior vena cava syndrome (confirm with trial site)
• People who currently have or have previously had another cancer, with some exceptions for certain skin cancers or early-stage cancers that were fully treated with no sign of return
• People with a history of certain lung conditions, such as interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, drug-induced lung disease, or other serious lung diseases that significantly affect lung function
• People known to be living with HIV
• People with serious heart or cardiovascular conditions, such as significant heart failure, unstable chest pain, unstable heart rhythm problems, or a heart attack or stroke within the past 6 months
• People who have taken systemic immunosuppressant medications (such as steroids) for an autoimmune condition within the past 2 years
• People who have received a live virus vaccine within the 4 weeks before joining the trial
• People who have previously had a stem cell transplant or a solid organ transplant
• People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or may be pregnant, or people of childbearing potential who are unwilling to use contraception during the trial
• People with any other significant medical condition, mental health history, substance use concern, or abnormal test results that the trial doctors believe could affect safe participation or ability to follow the trial requirements
