Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 40 and 60 years, both men and women.
- People who have had either an ischemic stroke (caused by a blocked blood vessel) or a hemorrhagic stroke (caused by bleeding in the brain).
- People who have weakness or paralysis on either the right or left side of the body as a result of their stroke.
- People who score 40 or higher on a fatigue checklist called the CIS-F, which measures how tired a person feels.
- People whose stroke happened more than 4 months before joining the trial.
- People who are able to walk 10 metres (about 33 feet) on their own without assistance.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have serious ongoing health conditions, such as heart disease, lung conditions like COPD, arthritis, or joint replacements.
- People whose diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, or anxiety is not well controlled.
- People who are not willing to take part in the trial.
- People who are taking medications that could affect their ability to participate in a physical exercise programme, such as antidepressants, beta-blockers, or corticosteroids (confirm with trial site).
- Women who are pregnant.
