Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women aged 18 or older who are attending Hospital Central de Maputo and need to end a pregnancy for a legally accepted reason, at 16 to 21 weeks of pregnancy
- People who speak Portuguese
Who may not be able to join:
- People under the age of 18
- People who are currently in prison or detained
- People who have an infection of the membranes surrounding the baby (confirm with trial site)

- People who have previously had a procedure to stitch the cervix closed (cervical cerclage)
- People who are allergic to any of the medications used in the study
- People who have a serious pregnancy-related condition involving high blood pressure and seizures (eclampsia)
- People who are not fully alert or aware, as measured by a standard medical awareness test (confirm with trial site)
