Who might be able to join this trial:

• Your cancer has been confirmed as intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (a type of bile duct cancer inside the liver) through a biopsy
• This is either a new diagnosis or the cancer has come back at least 6 months after surgery to remove it
• A specialist surgical team has determined that surgery to remove the tumor is not possible, either because of where the tumor is located or because of an existing liver condition
• You are between 18 and 70 years old
• The cancer has not grown into the major blood vessels of the liver in a way that cannot be explained by the tumor pressing from the outside (confirm with trial site)
• The cancer has not spread outside the liver
• Your cancer has been stable for at least 6 months
• A specific blood marker called CA 19-9 is below 200 u/ml at the time of being listed for a transplant, provided you do not have jaundice
• You are healthy enough to undergo a liver transplant, with no medical or surgical reasons preventing it
• You are in good general health and able to carry out daily activities, with little or no limitations (ECOG score of 0 or 1)
• You have not had any other cancer in the past 5 years and do not currently have another cancer
• You are willing and able to give written consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

• Your cholangiocarcinoma is located at the junction outside the liver (hilar) or further down the bile duct (distal), rather than inside the liver
• Your cancer got worse or progressed while receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy, as measured by standard medical assessment tools
• There is evidence that the cancer has spread to lymph nodes
• There is evidence that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body outside the liver
• The cancer has previously spread outside the liver at any point
• You currently have or have had another cancer within the past 5 years
• You have substance use issues, or medical, mental health, or social circumstances that could interfere with taking part in the study
• The trial doctors have any other concern that means it would not be appropriate for you to take part (confirm with trial site)
