Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 25 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) using standard international diagnostic criteria
- Your RLS symptoms have not improved enough even after trying standard medications (dopamine-based drugs and/or certain nerve pain medications)
- Your RLS symptoms started at least 6 months before the screening appointment
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a sleep breathing disorder (such as sleep apnea) that is not well controlled with treatment (confirm with trial site for specific details)
- You have used cannabis in the 4 weeks before joining the study
- You have a known allergy to cannabis, cannabinoids, or palm or coconut oil
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding (women who could become pregnant will need to take a urine pregnancy test before the study begins)
- You are currently struggling with active substance abuse
- You have heart disease with unstable chest pain, have had a heart attack or serious heart event in the last 3 months, have uncontrolled irregular heartbeats, or have poorly managed high blood pressure
- You have serious liver disease
- You have a history of schizophrenia or any other psychotic disorder
