Who might be able to join this trial:
This trial has three different roles people can join as. The criteria for each are listed below.
As a "Master Trainer":
- Women aged 18 or older
- A confirmed breast cancer diagnosis (stage 0 through stage III), verified by tissue testing
- No cancer that has spread to other parts of the body
- Self-identifies as Black
- Able to communicate in English
As a "Participant":
- Women aged 18 or older
- A confirmed breast cancer diagnosis (stage 0 through stage III), verified by tissue testing
- No cancer that has spread to other parts of the body
- Diagnosed within the last four years
- Self-identifies as Black
- Able to communicate in English
As a "Community Interventionist":
- Women aged 18 or older
- A confirmed breast cancer diagnosis (stage 0 through stage III), verified by tissue testing
- No cancer that has spread to other parts of the body
- Self-identifies as Black
- Previously completed this same study as a Participant
- Able to communicate in English
Who may not be able to join:
- Men, or anyone under 18 years of age
- People without a tissue-confirmed breast cancer diagnosis
- People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body
- People who do not self-identify as Black
- People who are unable to communicate in English
- People applying as a Participant who were diagnosed more than four years ago
- People applying as a Community Interventionist who have not previously completed this study's intervention as a Participant
