Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a specific type of blood cancer called B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia that does not have a genetic feature called the "Philadelphia chromosome"
- Your cancer is currently in remission, but tests still show small amounts of cancer cells remaining (known as measurable residual disease, detected by a specific blood/bone marrow test)
- You are generally well enough to carry out daily activities, rated 0–2 on a standard health scale used by doctors (ECOG scale)
- You do not have pre-existing damage to major organs
- You have a potential bone marrow/stem cell donor available, either a family member or an unrelated person
Who may not be able to join:
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated as poor (above 2 on the ECOG scale)
- You score more than 3 points on a medical assessment used to measure organ health before a transplant (confirm with trial site)
- You do not want to take part in a clinical study
- The cancer has spread to your central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and is currently active
- The cancer is currently active in areas of the body outside the bone marrow
- You have previously been treated with a drug called blinatumomab
- You do not have a suitable bone marrow/stem cell donor available (related or unrelated)
