Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with peripheral artery disease (poor blood flow in the legs) and have had a bypass surgery on a leg artery
- You have had a bypass surgery involving the large artery in your abdomen (aorta) connecting to the leg arteries
- You have had a procedure to open up a blocked or narrowed artery in your pelvis or leg using a small balloon (angioplasty)
- You have had a leg or foot amputation due to problems with blood flow in your arteries
- You experience leg pain when walking (intermittent claudication) AND have either a low ankle-to-arm blood pressure ratio (below 0.90) or a narrowing of a leg artery of 50% or more, confirmed by a scan or imaging test
- You have had a procedure to clear or bypass a blocked artery in your neck (carotid artery)
- You have a narrowing of 50% or more in a neck artery (carotid artery) that has been confirmed by a scan, even if you have no symptoms
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a heart rhythm condition called atrial fibrillation (an irregular, often fast heartbeat)
- You have a high number of irregular extra heartbeats coming from the lower chambers of your heart (confirm with trial site)
- You have a pacemaker that continuously controls your heart's lower chambers
- You are taking certain heart rhythm medications known as Class I or Class III antiarrhythmic drugs (confirm with trial site)
