Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of high blood pressure in the lungs called CTEPH, and who either: could not have a surgical procedure called pulmonary endarterectomy for technical reasons; were eligible for that surgery but the risks outweighed the benefits; or had that surgery but still have high blood pressure in the lungs afterward
- People who have already received a treatment called BPA (balloon pulmonary angioplasty) and have been on a stable dose of a medication called riociguat for at least 12 weeks
- People whose average lung artery blood pressure measurement is below 30mmHg
- People who are willing and able to use effective contraception for at least 28 days after signing the consent form; male participants must not donate sperm during this period, and female participants must not breastfeed
- People who are willing to sign a written consent form to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe liver or kidney disease (confirm with trial site for specific measurements)
- People with a severe active infection or a serious tendency to bleed
- People who have a type of lung high blood pressure other than CTEPH
- People who are currently taking other medications that target pulmonary hypertension
- People with cancer or another serious illness where life expectancy is estimated to be less than 6 months
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are currently taking part in another interventional clinical trial
- People where the trial doctor judges that a medical condition, physical state, or medical history may affect their ability to safely complete the study
