Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a type of T-cell lymphoma that carries a specific marker called CD7, and whose cancer has come back or stopped responding to standard chemotherapy, with no other treatment options remaining (such as stem cell transplant or further chemotherapy)
- People aged between 14 and 70 years old, either male or female
- People whose general physical health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range, as measured by a standard medical scoring system called the ECOG scale (scores 0–2) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have a life expectancy of at least 60 days
- People who are able to understand and sign a consent form before any screening begins; those aged 19–70 must be able to sign themselves, while those aged 14–18 must be aware of the consent form and have a legal guardian sign it separately
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer has spread significantly into the blood (more than 30% tumour load in the blood), regardless of whether they have previously had a stem cell transplant — or, for those who have had a donor stem cell transplant, cases where blood cells from that original donor are not available to prepare the treatment
- People with raised pressure in the brain or reduced levels of consciousness
- People with significant heart failure or serious irregular heart rhythms
- People with severe breathing difficulties
- People who have another type of cancer in addition to T-cell lymphoma
- People with a serious blood clotting disorder called diffuse intravascular coagulation
- People whose kidney function markers (creatinine and/or urea nitrogen) are 1.5 times or more above the normal range
- People with sepsis or another infection that is not under control
- People with diabetes that is not well controlled
- People with severe mental health disorders
- People who have significant abnormalities found on a brain MRI scan
- People who have had an organ transplant (not including stem cell transplants)
- Women of childbearing age who test positive for pregnancy (blood HCG test)
- People who test positive for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, or syphilis
