Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 18 and 30 years old
- People who are enrolled as a first- or second-year student (freshman or sophomore) in an undergraduate degree program at the college or university where the trial is taking place
- People who report having some unusual or suspicious thoughts or beliefs, as measured by a specific questionnaire called the Peters et al. Delusions Inventory (a score above 3 on that scale)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are not able to give informed consent to participate
- People who are not sufficiently proficient in English
- People who currently have an active mental health diagnosis with ongoing symptoms — such as active psychotic symptoms, current thoughts of suicide, serious alcohol or drug use problems, or a significant decline in day-to-day functioning in the past month — as determined through a clinical interview or self-report of a diagnosis that requires close monitoring, individual therapy, or hospital-level care
- People who are currently receiving any psychological or behavioural health treatment
- People who are currently taking psychiatric medications (other than stimulant medications) prescribed by a doctor
- People who have a diagnosis of a serious, long-term mental illness, as determined by a structured clinical interview called the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI)
