Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have previously been treated with a type of drug called a topoisomerase inhibitor, including certain antibody-drug treatments (the trial team may allow some exceptions if it was not your most recent treatment).
• You had major surgery (unrelated to ovarian cancer recurrence) within the past 4 weeks.
• Your ovarian tumor is classified as low-grade or borderline.
• You received any cancer treatment within the past 2 weeks (or within a shorter timeframe based on how quickly the drug leaves the body).
• You previously received wide-field radiation treatment that covered 20% or more of your bone marrow.
• You are taking blood-thinning medications at full dose, unless your levels are within a safe range and your dose has been stable for at least 2 weeks.
• You are taking certain other medications that interact with specific liver enzymes (CYP2D6 and CYP2C19) and cannot be switched to something else (confirm with trial site).
• You have a history of a serious lung condition called interstitial lung disease, or another significant lung problem in the doctor's opinion.
• You have been taking immune-suppressing medications (such as steroids above a certain dose, cyclosporine, or tacrolimus) or received radiation within the past 28 days.
• You are currently pregnant, or your pregnancy test during screening was positive.
• You are currently breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed during the trial or within 3 months after finishing treatment.
• You have a known allergy to any ingredient in the study drug (NMS-03305293) or topotecan.
• You have a serious, active infection that is not controlled — including HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C — though well-controlled HIV may be allowed (confirm with trial site).
