Who might be able to join this trial:
- Men aged 18 years or older
- People who have given their written, voluntary consent to participate before the study begins
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (a specific type called adenocarcinoma) and have had their prostate surgically removed (any surgical method is accepted, and there is no time limit on when the surgery took place)
- People whose PSA blood test result after surgery is between 0.1 and less than 2.0 ng/mL — either because PSA was never undetectable after surgery, or because it rose again after being undetectable
- People whose recent PSMA PET-CT scan (done within the past 90 days) shows no sign that the cancer has spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body
- People who had an MRI scan of the pelvis showing no clear sign of the cancer returning locally, if the PET-CT scan gave unclear results in that area
- People who have a good general level of physical function (able to carry out normal daily activities, with at most minor limitations) (confirm with trial site)
- People who are able to complete questionnaires as part of the study
- Hormone therapy to lower androgen levels may be permitted, based on the treating doctor's judgment
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes or to other parts of the body
- People whose MRI scan shows a visible, sizeable return of cancer in the pelvic area
- People who have previously had any form of radiation treatment to the prostate or pelvis
- People who have previously had brachytherapy (a type of internal radiation treatment)
- People with a history of inflammatory bowel conditions (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) or other serious active health conditions
- People who are currently taking medication that suppresses the immune system
