Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed (confirmed by laboratory tissue testing) with a neuroendocrine tumour (NET) that started in the pancreas or another part of the body, and the tumour is either advanced, cannot be surgically removed, or has spread to other parts of the body, and is classified as well-differentiated Grade 1, 2, or 3.
- People who have received certain prior treatments, depending on where the NET started and how it is affecting the body (the trial site can confirm which prior treatments are acceptable).
- People whose disease has been shown by scans (CT or MRI) to have gotten worse within the 12 months before joining the trial, according to a standard measurement system called RECIST 1.1.
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured on a scan, as assessed using RECIST 1.1.
- People who have saved tumour tissue (from a previous biopsy or surgery) available to provide, or who may be able to have a new biopsy taken safely if no saved tissue exists.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose tumour has been confirmed as a neuroendocrine carcinoma (including small cell lung cancer), medullary thyroid cancer, pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma, Merkel cell carcinoma, or a mixed neuroendocrine and non-neuroendocrine tumour.
- People who have previously been treated with certain targeted drug types known as VEGFR-targeting tyrosine kinase inhibitors or mTOR inhibitors.
- People who have received chemotherapy given throughout the body, or any treatment directed at the liver or other tumour-destruction therapies, within 4 weeks before joining the trial.
- People who have received a type of internal radiation treatment called systemic radionuclide therapy within 6 weeks before joining the trial.
- People who have had radiation therapy to bone metastases within the past 2 weeks, or any other radiation therapy within the past 4 weeks before joining the trial.
