Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have diabetes and have been referred to the hospital eye service to check for possible diabetic eye disease affecting the central part of your vision (maculopathy) or early changes to the blood vessels at the back of your eye (pre-proliferative retinopathy) at Hywel Dda University Health Board
Who may not be able to join:
- You are under 18 years old
- You have already been diagnosed with swelling at the back of your eye caused by diabetes (diabetic macular oedema)
- You have an advanced form of diabetic eye disease where new abnormal blood vessels have started growing at the back of your eye (proliferative diabetic retinopathy)
