Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been confirmed by a tissue biopsy to have a type of slow-growing lymphoma called CD20-positive Follicular Lymphoma (grades 1, 2, or 3a), diagnosed using current international standards
- People whose lymphoma is causing symptoms that affect daily work or life, or is affecting organ function, lowering blood counts, forming large masses, or is continuing to grow or spread
- People who have never received any systemic (whole-body) treatment for their lymphoma before
- People aged between 18 and 80 years old
- People who are generally able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (confirm with trial site for exact fitness level required)
- People whose life expectancy is greater than 2 years
- People who have at least one measurable area of disease — either a lymph node measuring 1.5 cm or more, or a non-lymph node site measuring 1 cm or more
- People who are willing to take part in the study and follow the required treatment and check-up schedule
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with significantly abnormal liver or kidney function based on blood test results (confirm with trial site for exact values)
- People who have had a blood clot in a deep vein or in the lungs within the past 12 months
- People with very low white blood cell counts, low platelet counts, or low haemoglobin levels — unless those low levels are caused by the lymphoma itself (confirm with trial site for exact values)
- People who are taking certain medications long-term that strongly or moderately affect how the body breaks down drugs (a group of medications known as CYP3A inducers — confirm specific medications with the trial site)
- People who have a known allergy or serious reaction to any ingredient in the study drug
- People who currently have another active cancer, with some exceptions — including certain previously cured skin cancers, early-stage or contained cancers, or other cancers where the person has been cancer-free for more than 5 years
- People who have a serious active infection at the time of enrolment
- People with drug dependency, or medical, psychological, or social circumstances that may interfere with taking part in the study or with assessing results
- People considered ineligible by the study investigator for any other reason
