Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have a confirmed diagnosis of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke that occurred less than 6 months ago (known as the sub-acute phase)
- People whose stroke severity and cognitive function fall within a specific range, as measured by two standard assessments (the NIHSS and MoCA scales) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have been referred by a doctor for physiotherapy as part of their stroke recovery
- People who are able to walk for 20 minutes on a treadmill with some body weight support and rest breaks, and who can stand on two feet with balance for 30 seconds both with eyes open and closed

Who may not be able to join:
- People who weigh more than 200 kg, as this exceeds the limit for the support equipment used in the trial
- People with significant vision problems, including corrected vision below a certain level, or certain types of visual field loss affecting one side or one quarter of their vision
- People with serious, unstable health conditions such as heart, lung, or kidney disease, uncontrolled diabetes, severe psychiatric disorders, or active cancer or cancer currently being treated
- People who are already taking part in another interventional research study
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are under legal guardianship
