Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (a type of inflammatory bowel disease affecting the large intestine) for at least 3 months
- People whose ulcerative colitis is considered moderately to severely active, based on a specific medical assessment scale
- People whose ulcerative colitis has not responded well enough to standard or advanced treatments, who have stopped responding to those treatments over time, or who were unable to tolerate them
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had a large portion of their colon removed, or who have a surgery planned to remove part or all of their colon due to ulcerative colitis
- People who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease or a related condition called indeterminate colitis (a bowel condition that shares features of both Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis)
- People who have previously been treated with a specific type of advanced therapy that targets a protein in the body known as TL1a
- People whose ulcerative colitis did not respond to, stopped responding to, or who could not tolerate a specific type of advanced therapy that targets proteins known as IL-12 and/or IL-23
