  • People who have been diagnosed with high-grade precancerous cell changes in the cervix or vagina (called HSIL, CIN2, CIN3, VaIN2, or VaIN3), confirmed by a specialist examination (colposcopy) and tissue sample (biopsy), or who have lower-grade changes (CIN1 or VaIN1) that have lasted more than one year and where treatment is strongly desired
  • People whose specialist examination (colposcopy) was carried out fully and successfully, with usable images kept on record
  • People whose internal cervical canal tissue sample (ECC) did not show any more serious cell changes

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have been diagnosed with cancer, or where cancer is suspected
  • People who have a condition called porphyria, or who are thought to be sensitive or allergic to red or blue light
  • People who have serious other health conditions alongside their current diagnosis
