Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with chronic plaque-type psoriasis
• People whose psoriasis meets at least one of the following: a disease severity score (called PASI) above 6, psoriasis affecting the scalp, or psoriasis affecting the nails
• People who show signs of inflammation at one or more attachment points where tendons or ligaments connect to bone, as detected by ultrasound scan using specific medical definitions (confirm with trial site)
• People whose psoriasis has not been adequately controlled by current skin-based treatments such as creams or light therapy
• People who are able to read and sign a consent form agreeing to participate

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have already been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis (a type of inflammatory joint disease linked to psoriasis)
• People who have any other known inflammatory joint or rheumatic disease, or who have tested positive for certain markers associated with rheumatoid arthritis, or who have previously been treated with anti-rheumatic medications
• People who have taken steroid tablets or injections (systemic corticosteroids) within approximately 12 weeks before screening
• People whose body size prevents a clear ultrasound scan from being carried out
• Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant within 5 months before or after treatment
• People who are currently participating in another clinical trial
• People with certain serious health conditions, including very high blood pressure (systolic at or above 160 mmHg and/or diastolic at or above 95 mmHg), severe heart failure, or blood count results below specified levels at screening
• People with abnormal liver function test results above twice the normal upper limit for certain liver markers
• People with reduced kidney function, shown by a specific blood test result above a set level
• People with a history of ongoing, long-term, or recurring infections, or who test positive for tuberculosis
• People with a current or past history of HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C infection
• People with a history of blood or lymph system cancers, or any cancer diagnosis within the past 5 years
• People who are unable or unwilling to have repeated blood draws during the trial
• People with a history of alcohol or drug misuse, or evidence of misuse in the 6 months before the trial starts
• People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the study medication
• People who have received a live vaccine within 4 weeks before joining, or who plan to receive a live vaccine during the study or within 6 months after the last dose (or within 12 months for the herpes zoster vaccine)
