Who might be able to join this trial:
- People whose general physical functioning is reasonably well-preserved, rated on a standard medical scale as 0, 1, or 2 out of 4 (meaning able to carry out at least some daily activities)
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer confirmed by tissue testing to be a specific type called adenocarcinoma (people whose cancer has mixed features including neuroendocrine elements are not eligible)

- People whose testosterone levels have been reduced to very low levels (below 50 ng/dL) through hormone therapy or surgical removal of the testicles, with hormone therapy having been started no more than 90 days before joining — provided that PSA levels have not already dropped to near-zero before joining
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously been treated with newer, more advanced hormone-blocking medicines (such as enzalutamide, darolutamide, apalutamide, or abiraterone) for advanced or metastatic prostate cancer — though prior use of these or certain chemotherapy or targeted radiation treatments for early-stage (localised) prostate cancer may be acceptable if the last dose was given more than 12 months before joining (confirm with trial site)
- People who have used an older type of hormone-blocking medicine called a first-generation anti-androgen (such as bicalutamide) for longer than 14 days, or whose last dose was taken less than 7 days before joining
- People whose only sign of cancer returning is a rising PSA blood test, with no visible spread of cancer confirmed on a CT, MRI, or bone scan
