- Children aged 2 years old up to (but not including) 18 years old
- Children who have developed large balloon-like bulges (called giant aneurysms) in the blood vessels of the heart following Kawasaki disease, confirmed by a specific heart ultrasound test showing the bulge meets certain size measurements
- Children for whom doctors have recommended a combination of blood-thinning medications to prevent dangerous blood clots, planned for at least the next 6 months

- Children who are currently bleeding or who have a condition that puts them at high risk of bleeding, making blood-thinning medication unsafe for them
- Children who have a known allergy or other medical reason why either of the medications being studied in this trial would not be suitable for them
- Children who are already taking part in another clinical trial for a different medication at the same time
