Who might be able to join this trial:

• People whose study eye has macular edema (swelling in the central part of the retina) caused by inflammation, with a specific level of retinal thickness (between 320 and 400 microns) measured by a special eye scan called SD-OCT.
• People whose study eye has a certain level of vision, roughly between 20/25 and 20/320 on a standard eye chart, measured using a specific scoring system called ETDRS letters.
• People whose SD-OCT eye scan shows fluid either within or beneath the retina in the study eye.
• People who have been diagnosed with non-infectious inflammation inside the eye — either currently active or previously present, and either short-term or long-term — in the study eye.

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose macular swelling in the study eye is caused by diabetes, a blockage of the retinal vein, or a condition called wet age-related macular degeneration.
• People who have a current or suspected infection in or around either eye.
• People who have ever had, or currently have, a condition involving blocked or inflamed blood vessels in the retina in either eye.
